I'm Still Here

I hadn't felt motivated to keep this going, plus I got real busy with new work responsibilities. I will start this up again, hopefully soon.

Title #5

"Isn't it cool we both have to go to the bathroom at the same time?"
"Yes. I'll cherish this moment for a lifetime."

Update: Yes, it's The Kid.

Pretty soon I'll start doing quotes again. Just got distracted with life.

Title #4

"There's nothing in the rule book that says one team can't jump higher than the other."

Update: You are sooooo close!

Update: Yup. It's the original The Absent-Minded Professor

Title #3

"Listen son. You may do things differently than other people."
"What? Chase cars, and bite the mailman?"

Update: Another clue:
"Listen Dad, I'm howling at the Moon, I'm dodging silver bullets. I have a $5 haircut, I'm struggling at school. I have problems already Dad. I don’t need this one."

Update: Good job! It is Teen Wolf. Another great quote from the coach:
"There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese. "

Title #2

"There are a dozen good brood mares in that mob. I'll be back for them... and for whatever else is mine."

Update: "He's not a lad, brother, he's a man. He's a man!" - The Man From Snowy River
Boy, that was quick...

Title #1

"I don't care about losing all the money. It's losing all the stuff."

Update: Another clue:
"I know we've only known each other four weeks and three days, but to me it seems like nine weeks and five days."

Update: "The new phone book's here! The new phone book's here!" Yes, this is from The Jerk.

Back From Break - New Theme

Time to start up again. Had a lot going on the last couple of weeks.

The new theme is somewhat similar to the last one, but instead of being a proper character's name, it will be a title that refers to a character. To use a couple of examples that I have already used in the past: The Princess Bride and The Court Jester.

A good rule of thumb for most of the titles is that they start with the work The, although I have found a few that don't.

Name Game #25

This will be the last one for this category. Wanted to make it an even 25.

"My little baby's all grown up and...[sniffle]... and savin' China. You have a tissue?"

Update: Correct, Whipple. This is from Mulan.

Name Game #24

"So let me see it. Where is it?"
"Here. It's all right here in my noodle. The rest is just scribbling. Scribbling and bibbling, bibbling and scribbling."

Update: Another clue:
"This was no composition by a performing monkey! This was a music I'd never heard. Filled with such longing, such unfulfillable longing, it had me trembling. It seemed to me that I was hearing a voice of God."

Update: Another one:
"Your work is ingenious. It's quality work. And there are simply too many notes, that's all. Just cut a few and it will be perfect."
"Which few did you have in mind, Majesty?"

Update: Time to use character names:
" My father, he did not care for music. When I told him how I wished I could be like Mozart, he would say, "Boy, do you want to be a trained monkey? Would you like me to drag you around Europe doing tricks, like a circus freak?" "

Update: One last clue:
"A great mass of death! Requiem mass for Wolfgang Mozart, composed by his devoted friend, Antonio Salieri! Oh what sublimity, what depth, what passion in the music! Salieri has been touched by God at last."

Update: That was close! I thought I was going to have to give the answer, but Mrs Ham correctly guessed Amadeus. That is Mozart's middle name. This won the Oscar for best picture in 1985 and won a total of 8 awards.
